Current Iran’s president Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian have been killed in a Helicopter crash. Rescue teams found him on crash site in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province after a hour’s-long operation in difficult weather.
According to a reliable news agency’s report, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ibrahim Raeisi, along with other officials, was returning from attending the inauguration ceremony of a dam on the Iranian border with Azerbaijan when their helicopter crashed during landing in Varzegan. The helicopter was carrying Iranian Supreme Leader, Foreign Minister, Governor of East Azerbaijan province, and other local officials. Everyone shocked with this tragic death of Raisi.
Now Iran’s vice president will assume the power of presidency until the elections that would be within next 50 days.
