Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that the Champion Trophy will not Move to the Hybrid model because we spend Millions of Dollars on upgrading the Infrastructure of the National Stadium in Lahore and Karachi.
Recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board bought a new building near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore that will be used as a Hotel Room for Players and Media to stay instead of traveling a long distance to another hotel.
Recently some media reports said that India will not travel to Pakistan for the Upcoming ICC Champion Trophy 2025 which is scheduled in Pakistan. After that Indian officials confirmed that we had not made any decision regarding travelling to Pakistan. If the Indian government allows them then they will come to play in this tournament.
India is trying to convince Pakistan to hold some matches in the Hybrid Model and they already proposed Dubai as a Hybrid Model. Last year Pakistan faced many challenges when they organised Indian matches in Sri Lanka.
Many times Pakistan moved from India to Sri Lanka to play just one match and then came back to play other matches with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
If India refuses to play in Pakistan then Sri Lanka will be included in this Champion Trophy at place of India. If we receive any update related to this controversy then we will share it with you. Stay Tuned.
