On September 4, PUBG officially released version 4.0 across all editions, including Global, Korean, Vietnamese, and Taiwanese. However, as usual, the BGMI update is delayed since it is a special version made exclusively for Indian users. According to game officials, the BGMI 4.0 update will be available on September 11 at 7:30 AM (IST). So, when you wake up on Thursday morning, it will be a surprise for you. Let’s explore what’s coming in this update and why everyone is excited.
Spooky Soiree Theme Mode in BGMI 4.0
In the next version of BGMI, the Spooky Soiree will replace Transformers mode and introduce new locations, events, items, and challenges. As some players watched YouTube videos of gamers trying out this update on PUBG, Indian fans became even more excited. The ghost companion has become a major attraction because it can carry players like a balloon, transform into a Guardian Shield to protect teammates, and even allow you to stay alive for a few seconds after being eliminated. In addition, it can automatically heal you if you run out of bandages.
Beyond this, a new Mortar weapon has been added in Classic mode, capable of hitting targets from long distances. If you are in cover, you can use the Mortar to launch a missile that can strike enemies even if they are behind trees or large stones. Keep in mind that the missile takes time to reach its target, depending on distance, so if the enemy is moving, you’ll need to adjust your aim to hit accurately.
The Strength Potion is also included. It is a consumable item that grants players special abilities for 50 seconds. When used, you will run faster, jump higher, and take less damage. Because of these fast movements, players often race each other to make TikTok videos. Keep in mind that during this time you cannot use your weapons, so it’s best to activate it in safe areas where no enemies are nearby.
Magical Broom Vehicle
A new flying vehicle called the Magical Broom is included in this version. As the name suggests, it can carry two players through the air and has dash and sweep abilities that enhance mobility.
Performing Dead Concert
In BGMI 4.0, you will receive a notification during gameplay about a ghost-hosted concert. When you reach the location, the ghosts will start dancing like they’re at a musical event. You need to spot their mistakes and help them improve to earn rewards. Be careful, though, as you won’t be alone there—enemies may also arrive after receiving the same notification.
Erangle Updates in BGMI 4.0
Krafton has made some changes in this BGMI update. The city of Lipovka has been completely transformed into a modern park with lush green plants, a Ferris wheel, and swings. You can even enjoy the rides and capture photos to share with your friends.
